Formed in Barcelona in the summer of 2017, Fatamorgana sprang to life from the hearts and minds of Patrycja Anna Proniewska and Louis Harding. What began as a bedroom project of sorts (monophonic synthesizers, four-track cassette recordings), the project soon blossomed into a functional live unit. Following a self-released cassette single at the start of the year, the pair spent the latter part of 2018 touring continental Europe and the west coast of North America. Recorded at Holyrook Estudio in Barcelona, Terra Alta is the group's first full-length effort. The verse-chorus songwriting, the raw set-up of two-synths-and-a-beat, and the primal rhythms nod to the duo's background in punk. But Terra Alta has a pensive and mesmeric quality, provided in part by an outstanding production job (Studio AS One, Warsaw), but also by lyrics concerning themselves with themes of love, time travel, reflections on the future, the power of imagination and the mysteries of the natural world. If pressed for musical references the band could be pin-pointed somewhere between early Depeche Mode, Young Marble Giants, The Human League and a rounder-around-the-edges Borghesia. Dreamlike synthesizers and echoed voices circle around danceable rhythms, inviting one to simultaneously contemplate and move one's body. Not Quite So Durable...

Maybe I have a SUPER aggressive chewer...he went through this ball in under a week. I originally bought the ball because of a review that stated the owner's Pitbull had the same ball for two years; not so much for my Rottweiler. He started chewing off and swallowing small crumbs from the ball within a day or two. By the end of the week, it was chunks so I had to toss it in the trash to prevent an intestinal obstruction. On the up side, my Rottweiler LOVED the ball while it lasted. However, I can't, in good conscience, give this ball a rave review based on this experience. Please take this review with a grain of salt as I have yet to find ANY toy that my boy won't DESTROY in a week or two. I hope that someone finds this informative when searching for chew toys for SUPER aggressive chewers like mine.

Bouncy, not hard, and good value.

Great balls for the ball launcher and not rockhard like some of the solid rubber balls. These have great bounce, and because of the two holes, they make a fun whistling noise as they fly through the air. My dogs love them and they are a good value.
By the way, if you throw them too hard, they will go through chain-link and no climb fence because they squish a bit!

Excellent dog balls — safe design and very durable

These fetch balls from Amazon Basics are fantastic, and my dog absolutely loves them. One of the biggest reasons I prefer these over other brands is the hole that runs through the center of the ball. This is a very important safety feature: if a dog were to accidentally get the ball stuck in the back of the throat, the hole allows air to pass through. That small detail could literally make a life-saving difference.
Aside from the safety benefit, they bounce well, are easy to clean, and hold up to a lot of playtime. They’re firm but not rock-hard, and my dog goes crazy for them. Great value, great quality, and a thoughtful design.
Highly recommended for dog owners who want a safer alternative to standard solid rubber balls.

Great ball for heavy chewers

Great toy for my Doberman. She chews through tennis balls in about 15 minutes but these are very durable. She likes to chase them but also just chew on them.
